The Mourvedre 2015 – a pretty and refined version of the classic southern French variety also known as Mataro and Monastrell. 94 points, James Halliday.
The Malbec 2015 - sourced from the '12 mile' vineyard in the very cool climate of Robe, south Australia. Premium treatments across the winemaking with some very expensive new French oak and 18 month maturation. 93 points, James Halliday, 93 points, Toni Patterson MW.
Touriga Nacional 2012 - the great grape of Portugal used to make their exotic wines and Vintage Port styles. Meduim bodied with exotic Bergamot notes and an underlying game and spice. 93 points, James Halliday.
The Iberian 2013 - an assemblage of Touriga Nacional (44%), Tempranillo (14%), Monastrell (11%), Syrah (9%), Carignan (6%), Cinsault (6%), Garnacha (6%). and Malbec (4%). Medium-bodied, gorgeous flavours, aromas and svelte tannins. 93 points, James Halliday.
Sangiovese 2010 - from our museum stock. This Clare Valley vineyard has produced fruit for a classic mature Sangiovese with cherry, leather and subtle oak. 95 points, James Halliday.
